Taking a Cambridge exam – face-to-face or online?

How much does a Cambridge English exam cost?

● The A2 KET costs around 120 euros.

Can I take the Cambridge exam online?
It is not possible to take the exam online, you must be supervised by the relevant examiners. It is true that some institutions have the possibility to do it from the computer, but this does not mean that you can do it from the comfort of your home.
Cambridge A2 exam
The Key English Test is a pre-intermediate level exam and corresponds to level 2 of the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The exam consists of three major tests: Reading and Writing, Speaking and Listening. There are three passing grades: “Pass with Distinction”, “Pass with Merit”, “Pass” and one failing grade: “Level A1”. The language used in the test is taken from real situations.
Cambridge B1 exam
The Preliminary English Test, which is given at level A2-B2 of the Common European Framework, is provided by Cambridge English Language Assessment. The four skills of Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening are assessed, each of which represents 25% of the total available score. In the reading part, you will have to read some texts and answer some questions about each of them. Answer this task by choosing options A, B, C, or D. The writing part of the test asks you to write a short report and do a brief grammar exercise before writing the story or letter.
Cambridge B2 exam
The First Certificate is the highest level intermediate exam corresponding to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The test is designed for students with good English language skills and is recognized by many educational institutions and universities. The test consists of four parts: writing, reading and using English, listening and speaking. Exam 1 consists of seven parts (52 questions) and lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes. The English usage test includes a text with vocabulary and grammar exercises. Students should be able to understand different types of texts, such as magazines and newspapers, novels, short stories and Internet articles.
Cambridge C1 exam
The Certificate in Advanced English exam corresponds to CEFR level C1 and consists of four parts: writing, reading and using English, speaking and listening. Reading and use of English is 40% of the total score, while Listening, Writing and Speaking is 20% of the total score. Test 1 consists of eight parts (56 questions) and lasts 90 minutes. Candidates should be able to understand texts from a variety of sources, such as magazines, novels, short stories, newspapers, reviews and Internet articles.
Cambridge C2 exam
Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) consists of four tests: Writing, Reading and Use of English, Speaking and Listening. Reading and Use of English is worth 40% of the total score and each of the other tests is worth 20%. Exam 1 consists of seven parts, lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes and focuses on grammar and vocabulary. You will examine various types of text – magazine articles, short stories, novels, reviews – to familiarize yourself with the different styles and contexts of media writing.
